Art Festival & Exhibition
The art group hold an art exhibition every year in Dinas Powys.
This year join in Dinas Powys's FIRST Art Festival on Saturday and Sunday 23rd & 24th September 2023. Come and enjoy the art that is created in the Community. All are welcome!
Three events for you to enjoy:
- Art Trail
55 paintings will be displayed around the village for you to find Sept 9th - 24th 2023.
Red dots on map denote approximate locations of paintings. Those with numbers denote more than 1 painting on that road.

2. Annual Exhibition
Annual Art Exhibition at the Parish Hall, Britway Road, Dinas Powys CF64 4AF from 10am - 4pm 23rd & 24th Sept 2023.
Due to circumstances beyond our control the exhibition will now be held at the Lee Hall situated next to the Parish Hall.
Over 150 original works of art are displayed, some of which are for sale. The small £1 admission fee includes a drink. Children are admitted free. Members bake a variety of fabulous cakes for visitors to enjoy..
3. Painting on the Square
Small display of paintings. Art Group will be working on Dinas Powys Square. Opportunities to create some art. 23rd & 24th Sept 2023 11am - 3pm.
2023 DINAS POWYS ART TRAIL
The Art Trail runs from the 9th to 24th September, leading up to the Dinas Powys Art Festival on the 23rd and 24th September
For your enjoyment there are 55 pictures located around Dinas Powys – see map and table of locations below
Complete on your own or with your children, grandchildren or friends
Then come to see more original artworks in the Parish Hall and the Village Square during the weekend of the 23rd and 24th September
Optional Competition
Download an answer sheet to record the paintings you find (optional).
On each artwork poster there is a number and a letter
Record the number and letter either on the answer sheet or a piece of paper
Then put the letters in sequence to create an art phrase
Submit your answer by emailing your answer to DPAGgroup@gmail.com or drop off at the Art Exhibition in the Parish Hall, September 23rd / 24th
Closing date is September 24th at 2pm
One entry per person
All correct answers will be entered into a prize draw
There are three prizes of art materials
Members of the Dinas Powys Art Group will draw the winning entries
You will be notified by email if you have won
The Dinas Powys Art Group’s decision will be final

Proceeds are shared with local charities. Our current chosen charities are Dinas Powys Library and Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern.
Other exhibitions of art produced by the art group are to be held at Rhoose Library nr Barry from 7th October to 3rd November 2023, and Dinas Powys Library 6th November to 12th January 2024.
