Resident Artist

The group has a resident artist Glyn Pooley He gives short demonstrations or talks each week on the theme of the day. He provides one to one advice, helping members develop their own artistic language. Members are free to pursue their own projects, or follow the suggested theme for the week.

Glyn also gives on-line history of art lectures for members utilizing the once a month ZOOM on-line session. Subjects vary on a variety of themes, or famous and interesting artists - providing fascinating insights and inspiration for us. Twenty Five Years Tutoring Group

In 2023 we celebrated Glyn's 25 years tutoring the Dinas Powys Art Group at the annual Christmas 'outing' at a local pottery where we all (including Glyn) were being taught to make a ceramic pot!
